		<description>Another rather huge inconsistency is that the CBI recently published an excellent report from LEK Consulting which pointed out that: 

a) every pound spent on construction projects increases national GDP by £2.80 (rising IIRC to £5.60 for spending on schools), and 

b) that 30% to 40% of all construction spending is currently funded by the state.

So they are all in favour of cuts - but also in favour of the state funding more houses, schools and hospitals....</description>
