		<description>an excellent blog. this takeover raises some fundamental questions about the over-active market for coporate control and the destruction of shareholder (and other stakeholder) value that goes with it. Most takeovers fail, and policy needs to be reformed both to make hostile takeovers more difficult and to take back the power for government to intervence if need be.</description>
