Doesn’t work on Firefox 3.6.10 FWIW

Hi Chris. Thanks for that, and sorry for the errors. It should be fine on FF3.6.10 – It’s what I’m using to test. We have had a problem today with our server though, which has caused “500″ errors at very annoying times for some users. This might be stopping one step in the calculator for you. Big apologies if so. Our web host’s tech help team are working on the issue for us – fingers crossed it’ll be fixed soon.

Interesting. The calculator estimates my family will ‘lose’ £1620 per year to ‘cuts’, half of one percent of gross income.
What the widget doesn’t tell me is how much we will really lose due to higher taxation, that is the real loss. Services not used and cut make no difference at all….

Seems like scaremongering to me. Suggests my household will lose £1091 (3%). But after taking out (a) ‘cuts’ that certainly don’t apply – e.g. Social Care – and (b) cuts that aren’t defined – e.g. ‘other flat-rate Services – I’m left with a possible effect of minus £11 for Health (0.03%)!!
