  • Larry Elliott reports in the Guardian on a study from the Institute of Development Studies at Sussex University which says a currency trasactions levy alone (one of the components of a Robin Hood Tax) could raise $26 billion a year. He's over-egging it a bit by saying this is the first formal study of the issue, and the study itself is ultra-cautious, but it's another brick in the wall….
