Oxfam have polled people in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. At least four fifths of people in each country, ranging from 82% per cent in the Netherlands to 90% per cent in Spain, believe financial institutions should repair the damage their actions caused. In Britain, more than half supported a Robin Hood Tax – up from a third a year ago.
