Cuts Watch #76: Cuts in Sheffield
£110 million of funding that was allocated for Sheffield is now considered unaffordable, poor value for money and unreflective of the Government’s prorities.
Cuts in Sheffield are:
- £80 million loan for Sheffield Forgemasters cut
- £17 million funding for the development of Sheffield’s new retail quarter has been suspended
- £13 million loan to develop the Outokumpu site at Shepcote Lane, Sheffield, into an industrial park, has been cut
