  • Adam has a guest post on Comment Is Free today, arguing that the Prime Minister’s failure to explain the strategy behind his cuts programme is leaving a lot of tough questions unanswered.
  • Telegraph Economics Editor Edmund Conway takes issue with the tone of the Prime Minister’s speech on the economy: “Yes the Budget deficit is dire, but the Prime Minister is being disingenuous at best in claiming that it is “worse than we thought”, as he has done in Milton Keynes today. If anything, it is actually a bit better than previously thought.”
